BASIC INTRODUCTION TO BREAD MAKING

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Our half day introduction to bread making experience days cover the very basics of bread making using locally milled flours and natural ingredients. You will learn how to create that perfect gluten window to make your own beautiful bread at home with helpful tips and guidance throughout your afternoon. You will learn how flour is made using our Mockmill to mill your own flour to use in your baking.
We will cover wholegrain flours and the various white flours as well as which breads are more suited to specific flour grains.
Everything will be provided throughout your afternoon including all of the ingredients, aprons, bowls, recipes, materials and equipment.
Lunch is included in your half day baking experience. A delicious deli lunch from Casa Valle will be freshly prepared including home made breads made by your instructor.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE HOME
Each person takes home a goody bag with two loaves of freshly baked handmade breads, all of the recipes, a sourdough starter and new skills to continue using at home!
Currently all workshops numbers are following government guidelines. 4 - 8 people to allow for social distancing.
Refunds not applicable on gift vouchers.
Refunds are available up to one weeks notice.
In the event we are not able to proceed with the workshop due to low numbers we will contact you one week prior to re schedule or a full refund will be issued.
Masks are not mandatory but you are welcome to wear one
We request that if you feel unwell or have a positive covid test to stay at home. Unfortunately refunds can not be issued after the seven day period prior to the date of your workshop.
